Jennifer Murtha, arts and literature and English major, 3.78 GPA

Murtha is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She has been involved in the Green Dot Marketing Committee, the Student Alumni Mentor program, Delta Epsilon Sigma, Omicron Delta Kappa, Campus Ministry and intramural sports.

Murtha said being nominated for the Tommie Award and being a building manager for the Anderson Student Center are her greatest accomplishments, and her favorite memory at St. Thomas is meeting others.

Other students might not know that Murtha hopes to run a marathon’s worth of 5Ks.

After graduation, Murtha plans to work as a high school English teacher or in an outdoors camp.
