On October 16 at 10:08 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a suspicious odor in Tommie East Hall. An underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed alcoholic beverages.
On October 17 at 12:02 a.m. Public Safety responded to a disturbance on Selby Avenue. A university neighbor reported a loud crowd of people near Cleveland Avenue.
On October 17 at 10:10 a.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. A St. Thomas student reported a bicycle locked to a bike rack near the east entrance to Flynn Residence Hall was stolen.
On October 17 at 12:30 p.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. A bicycle locked to a bike rack near the east entrance to Flynn Residence Hall was stolen and subsequently recovered by the investigating officer.
On October 17 at 12:32 p.m. Public Safety documented theft at an unknown location in St. Paul. A bicycle, presumably stolen off campus, was abandoned on campus near Flynn Residence Hall by a suspect who stole a bike from that area.
On October 17 at 9:31 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with suspicious activity in Murray Residence Hall. Alcoholic beverages were reported to possibly be in a room in the building.
On October 18 at 12:21 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Tommie East Hall . An underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed alcoholic beverages and an underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed and consumed alcoholic beverages.
On October 18 at 12:43 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Brady Residence Hall. An underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed alcoholic beverages.
On October 18 at 1:12 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a disturbance in Flynn Residence Hall. Four underage St. Thomas students were found to have unlawfully consumed and possessed alcoholic beverages, an underage St. Thomas student unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages and a St. Thomas student reported a medical disorder.
On October 18 at 1:53 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a medical in Tommie North Hall. An underage intoxicated St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed and consumed alcoholic beverages.
On October 19 at 9:10 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a suspicious odor in Flynn Residence Hall. The source of the odor of reported marijuana was undetermined.
On October 19 at 10:33 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with suspicious activity in Brady Residence Hall. Empty alcohol containers were found in a shower in a bathroom in the building.
On October 20 at 2:13 p.m. Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a disturbance in Brady Residence Hall. An anonymous person reported a noise complaint in a room in the building.
On October 20 at 4:23 p.m. Public Safety and the Title IX office documented sexual assault at an unknown off campus location. A campus security authority reported a St. Thomas student disclosed being raped.
On October 21 at 10:13 a.m. Public Safety documented a complaint that occurred off campus in Minneapolis. An anonymous person reported a social media post purportedly discrediting the university.
On October 21 at 11:29 a.m. Public Safety documented a complaint in Anderson Student Center. A St. Thomas student reported overhearing an offensive comment.
On October 21 at 1:34 p.m. Public Safety assisted the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. A background investigation was conducted on a former St. Thomas student.
On October 22 at 12:33 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a disturbance in Dowling Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated St. Thomas student unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages, and two underage St. Thomas students unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages.
On October 22 at 12:07 p.m. Public Safety and the Title IX office documented sexual harassment on campus. A St. Thomas student reported ongoing inappropriate behavior by a St. Thomas student.
On October 23 at 7:45 a.m. Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a suspicious person on Cleveland Avenue. Officers were diverted to McNeely Hall for a medical where the same person not affiliated with St. Thomas was transported to an area hospital.
On October 23 at 12:28 p.m. Public Safety responded to suspicious activity in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A package containing alcoholic beverages addressed to an underage St. Thomas student was intercepted by a St. Thomas employee.
On October 23 at 2:25 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with suspicious activity in Murray Residence Hall. A guest of a St. Thomas student was asked to leave the building for violating visitation policy.
On October 23 at 7:27 p.m. Public Safety responded to a medical on the 1800 block of Marshall Avenue. A family member of a St. Thomas student reported an illness.
On October 23 at 11:52 p.m. Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics assisted Residence Life with a medical in Dowling Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated St. Thomas student unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages and an underage St. Thomas student unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages.
On October 24 at 1:16 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a medical in Tommie North Hall. An underage intoxicated guest unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages, an underage guest unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages and three underage St. Thomas students unlawfully possessed and consumed alcoholic beverages.
On October 24 at 3:55 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Flynn Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported observing a St. Thomas student in possession of what appeared to be drug paraphernalia.
On October 24 at 4:35 p.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. A bicycle owned by a St. Thomas student locked to a bike rack on Morrison Plaza was stolen.
On October 24 at 11:39 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with suspicious activity in Ireland Residence Hall. A guest of a St. Thomas student who violated the visitor policy was asked to leave campus.
On October 25 at 2:02 a.m. Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a medical in Tommie North Hall. A St. Thomas student reported difficulty breathing caused by anxiety.
On October 25 at 9:44 a.m. Public Safety responded to a welfare check in Ireland Residence Hall. A parent of a St. Thomas student reported concerns about a recent illness.
On October 26 at 9:48 a.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. An unsecured bicycle was stolen from a bike rack near the southeast entrance to Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
On October 26 at 10:01 a.m. Public Safety documented a theft on campus. A guest of a St. Thomas student reported a bicycle stolen between O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center and O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.
On October 27 at 1:41 p.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. A bike was stolen from the patio on the east side of Morrison Hall.
On October 27 at 1:43 p.m. Public Safety documented attempted theft on campus. An unknown suspect attempted to steal a bike between O’Shaughnessy Stadium and Anderson Student Center.
On October 27 at 3:15 p.m. Public Safety documented a complaint in the Lot D drive aisle. An unknown person in a motor vehicle occupied by a St. Thomas student yelled at and threw an opened alcoholic beverage container at a St. Thomas employee.
On October 27 at 4:40 p.m. Public Safety documented an online classroom complaint at an unknown off campus location.
On October 27 at 8:57 p.m. Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a medical emergency in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. A St. Thomas student experienced suicidal ideation due to medical disorders and was transported to an area hospital.
On October 28 at 10:38 a.m. Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department documented theft on campus. A St. Thomas student reported a bicycle locked to a bike rack on Morrison Plaza was stolen.
On October 28 at 2:30 p.m. Public Safety assisted the university community with an ongoing investigation on campus. Officers conducted a theft suppression detail.
On October 28 at 7:10 p.m. Public Safety documented theft on the 2200 block of Summit Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported a window intentionally broken on a motor vehicle owned by a person not affiliated with St. Thomas and personal property stolen from inside.
On October 28 at 7:13 p.m. Public Safety documented burglary on the 1800 block of Portland Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported unlawful forced entry into a garage in the area.
On October 28 at 7:41 p.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. A bicycle owned by a St. Thomas student and locked to a bike rack north of Anderson Student Center was stolen.
On October 28 at 9:11 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity on the 2000 block of Ashland Avenue. An unknown person operating a motor vehicle near Wilder Street North attempted to drive at a St. Thomas student.
On October 28 at 10:48 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a suspicious odor in Tommie East Hall. The source of the odor of suspected burned marijuana in the building was undetermined.
On October 29 at 1:01 a.m. Public Safety observed suspicious activity on Selby Avenue. An unknown individual was seen coming out from underneath a vehicle parked in the area.
On October 29 at 9:54 a.m. Public Safety documented misconduct in Brady Educational Center. A St. Thomas employee failed to enforce the mask mandate in a classroom in the building.
On October 29 at 12:12 p.m. Public Safety documented property damage in John Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. A steam valve failed, causing damage to a ceiling tile in a room in the building.
On October 29 at 3:13 p.m. Public Safety documented theft on campus. A bicycle owned by a St. Thomas student and locked to a bike rack outside of Tommie East Hall was stolen.
On October 29 at 4:46 p.m. Public Safety responded to a disturbance on the North Athletic Field. A University neighbor reported loud music coming from the baseball field.
On October 29 at 8:19 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a disturbance in Brady Residence Hall. An underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed and consumed alcoholic beverages and an underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed alcoholic beverages.
On October 29 at 8:36 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with suspicious activity in Murray Residence Hall. A phallic symbol next to the name of a St. Thomas student was drawn on a dry erase board in a study lounge in the building.
