The Cleveland Indians are changing their name after 105 years. The team has been internally discussing a potential name change for months. It’s not known when the name change will take effect or if the team has settled on a new moniker.

Last year, the team removed the contentious Chief Wahoo logo from its caps and jerseys.

The Vikings lost Sunday to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-14. Kicker Dan Bailey missed an extra point and three field goals, putting his position in jeopardy after nearly costing last week’s game as well.

The Gophers returned to the football field Saturday after missing the last 3 weeks due to a COVID-19 outbreak. The team beat the Nebraska Cornhuskers 24-17 while missing 33 players within the conference’s 21-day return to play protocol.
