St. Thomas international student Kailin “Calvin” Wang, 20, was found dead in his off-campus apartment Friday, Feb. 26, the St. Thomas Newsroom reported.
Wang originally came from China and took classes at St. Thomas beginning Spring 2020.
“We are so sorry to hear about the passing of one of our international students,” Lori Friedman, director of the St. Thomas Office of International Students & Scholars, said. “His family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.”
This is the second St. Thomas student death within a week and the third within the school year.
