Los Angeles pitcher Clayton Kershaw kept a perfect game through seven innings during his season debut against the Twins. Kershaw struck out 13 before being pulled after throwing 80 pitches. The Dodgers dominated the Twins in a 7-0 win.

The Timberwolves will face the Memphis Grizzlies in a possible seven-game series starting Saturday, April 16 at 2:30 p.m. The Wolves beat the Los Angeles Clippers in a play-in game Tuesday 109-104.

This weekend, the St. Thomas softball team hosts the University of Nebraska-Omaha for a three-game series. The team will play a doubleheader on Friday, finishing the series on Saturday. The Tommies are currently 9-26 overall and sit sixth in Summit League standing.
