The St. Thomas men’s hockey team beat Lake Superior State 2-1 on Saturday at St. Thomas Ice Arena. It is the team’s first Division I sweep.

First-year goalie Aaron Trotter saved 21 of 22 shots on net. Trotter recorded his first DI shutout on Friday as the Tommies beat the Lakers 4-0.

The St. Thomas men’s basketball team lost 95-66 against Utah on Saturday. The Utes shot 63% from behind the arc.

Senior forward Will Engels lead the Tommies with 16 points, shooting 6-for-8.

The Minnesota Wild topped the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 on Sunday. Kirill Kaprisov scored a goal along with a couple of assists to extend his point streak to nine games.
