St. Thomas Women’s Tennis finished their fall season yesterday with a doubles win at the Drake Invitational. The Tommies faced the Mizzou Tigers in singles play and Minnesota Golden Gophers in doubles on the third day of the invitational.
Freshman Caroline Lindahl and Senior Jannah ElNemr faced Emma Bulluomini and Aiva Schmitz. ElNemr and Lindahl defeated the Gophers pairing 7-5.
Men’s Hockey played the Northern Michigan Wildcats over the weekend and won game two in a commanding 6-1 victory.
Head Coach Rico Blasi said, “We came out with purpose, played on our toes, played to our identity and I thought the guys did a nice job coming to play tonight.”
Women’s Hockey wrapped up their first road series of the season, falling 4-0 to Minnesota Duluth on Saturday afternoon.
The team is back in action Thursday, Nov. 9th as the Tommies face Minnesota State in the US Hockey Hall of Fame Game.
