A 40-year-old St. Paul woman is under arrest in connection with the hit-and-run incident that left two St. Thomas students in critical condition early Sunday morning.
St. Paul police announced the arrest via Twitter Friday afternoon. Police had said earlier in the week that they found a late-model silver Mazda involved in the hit-and-run. The St. Paul Police Department tweeted that officers found the vehicle on the 1700 block of Carroll Avenue.
Police said the injured students, seniors Rebekka Peterson and Nicholas Bergeland, and three other people were getting out of a cab around 2:34 a.m. Sunday when a car traveling westbound near the 1900 block of Grand Avenue struck Peterson and Bergeland.
The SPPD tweeted that it had no further information about the arrest as of Friday afternoon.

Has there been any updates on the condition of the two students? And what charges are being pressed against the driver? Thanks, Lauren
