Many students are attending on-campus worship services like Shine or Ignite instead of celebrating traditional Mass. The shift follows data taken from the national 2010 census report summarizing that mainline Protestant and Catholic churches in the U.S. lost an average of 17.8 percent of its active members since 2000.
Self-driving car becomes a reality
It’s beginning to look like the self-driving car is becoming a reality. Google has been developing this technology for a while, and in March the corporation released a video of Steve Mahan, who has lost 95 percent of his vision, using the car.
Scooter’s reduces original menu, more changes expected next fall
The decision to reduce Scooter’s menu happened shortly after the grand opening of the Anderson Student Center. The menu will grow when specials are added to the new menu. Students can expect more changes in the fall.

Sophomore sprinter Emily Van Heel is a three time All-American track and field athlete. In four indoor and outdoor seasons, she has been the Tommies’ top point scorer in every conference championship meet she has participated in.
SIFE, Sam’s Club team together to help improve Eagan business
The Students in Free Enterprise club and Sam’s Club have financially helped three St. Thomas students implement process improvements and sustainable tools in an Eagan gas station and deli. The students worked to decrease customer wait time and improve unnecessary bottlenecks from forming around register areas.
Students trade golf clubs for a frisbee

The Association of American Medical Colleges announced this month that a new version of the MCAT will include a sociology and psychology section and will be longer than before. The changes will begin in 2015.
