The second annual Victory Ball sponsored by the Swing Dance Club was held Saturday, April 30. The event included World War II uniforms, music from the 40s, old-fashioned hairstyles and swing dance lessons.
Students in Rome excited to attend Pope John Paul II’s beatification
Twenty-five St. Thomas students and one graduate student will be among the crowds on Divine Mercy Sunday when Pope John Paul II is beatified, which is the first step in becoming a saint in the Catholic Church.
University will use ESPN press box to advertise at Target Field
Doug Hennes, vice president for university and government relations, said the funding for the press box is part of “marketing communications,” which involves different forms of St. Thomas advertising.
