Football team prepares for Saturday’s spring game
The football team’s intrasquad scrimmage is open to the public Saturday and will be at 1 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. Coach Glenn Caruso said he’s been pleased with his team’s progress so far this spring and is looking forward to Saturday.

St. Thomas senior all-American Mike Hutton won the 800-meter Division III championship Saturday to lead the men’s track and field team to a fifth-place team finish at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Grinnell, Iowa. The women’s team tied for 20th.

The women’s distance medley relay took fourth place Friday night and recorded five team points in the first day of the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Grinnell, Iowa. The men did not earn any team points, but senior all-American Mike Hutton finished first in the 800 meter prelims.
