Students, administration react to third racial slur on campus in three years
Students and faculty attended an open dialogue Tuesday in response to a racial slur incident that happened last week. This is the third incident regarding the same racial slur in the last three years at St. Thomas.

Professional community theater partners with students for performance project
St. Thomas partnered with Wonderlust Productions, a professional community-driven theater company, to create a performance project called “Dear Future Self.” It addressed ideas about the university’s slogan “all for the common good” and what the “perfect” Tommie would look like. On March 14, “Dear Future Self” was performed by St. Thomas students and Wonderlust Productions staff at Wednesday night in Scooters.
Bridge St. Thomas provides student-led middle ground for political discussion
Bridge St. Thomas, a club founded by senior Matt Kearney, is a haven for students with differing political views to engage in civil discussion about varying topics.
St. Thomas launches TV advertising campaign
For the first time since the early 2000s, St. Thomas launched a new TV marketing campaign. The commercials, running under the “We are Tommies” campaign, will air from mid-February to the first week of May.
Nadav hired as first assistant director of campus sustainability
Amir Nadav was named assistant director for campus sustainability last December. The move is the latest attempt by the university to become carbon neutral by 2035.

Wellness Center campaign aims to unplug students from technology for week
Technology Mindfulness Week included a yoga lesson in the library, a convo hour designated to unplugging and relaxing in the Wellness Center, and an event teaching students how to minimize distractions on their devices.
