St. Thomas a cappella groups sing out against hate
In response to recent hate crimes and racial incidents on campus, St. Thomas a cappella groups collaborated to create a music video project called We Stand For. Cadenza and the Summit Singers recorded the song “If You’re Out There” by John Legend and then invited students, clubs and other community members to come to OEC auditorium and write on a sign what they stood for.
Social media-based fashion company makes sales in three states
Good Threads Company, solely a social media-based business started by three St. Thomas seniors, has made over 30 sales in three states.
Theology professor emphasizes importance of black theology
St. Thomas adjunct professor Ry Siggelkow made a commitment to himself to include black theology within the curriculum of all of his theology classes and taught Theology 432: Black Religious Experience this past spring.

2 seniors plan new off-campus housing
Two St. Thomas seniors are working on plans for an apartment complex near campus to serve as student housing. The planned building would hold around 60 residents with rent starting around $900 per month.

It’s been two years since St. Thomas has had an alpine ski club, but two students are working to bring it back.
St. Thomas professor named finalist for Minnesota Book Award
