Despite sophomore outside hitter Lauren Galvin’s 11 kills and 10 digs, St. Thomas volleyball was swept by North Dakota State Thursday at Schoenecker Arena. St. Thomas men’s soccer ties Green Bay 1-1, ready for conference play
Senior forward Jacek Nickowski scored the lone goal for the St. Thomas men’s soccer team as it tied the University of Green Bay 1-1 Wednesday at South Field. The Tommies (1-6-1, 0-0 Summit) faced off against the Phoenix (3-2-2, 0-1 Horizon) in their second home match of the season. This was the Tommies’ last game before conference play starts on Saturday.

Minnesota Timberwolves players and staff participated in a player-led icebreaker game of slow-pitch softball on the St. Thomas baseball field.
Over the weekend, the St. Thomas women’s tennis team competed at the Gopher Invitational, starting strong with two individual match wins and two doubles team wins. Tommie standout Anders Nelson to transfer, won’t forget ‘unbelievable four-year experience’
After four fantastic years at St. Thomas, senior guard Anders Nelson will graduate and transfer to William & Mary for his fifth-year. The Edina native is hoping he can help improve the five-win school but noted he won’t forget being a Tommie. “You guys have supplied me with memories that will last a lifetime,” Nelson said.
Women’s hockey announces ‘22-23 conference schedule
St. Thomas women’s hockey released its 2022-23 conference schedule Monday. The Tommies will play 28 games; 14 at St. Thomas Ice Arena and 14 on the road.
