Ex-Gopher Omersa finds new home with old friends at St. Thomas

The University of St. Thomas’ men’s basketball team gained an important piece to its lineup on April 18 after a Twitter announcement from former University of Minnesota forward Jarvis Omersa, an incoming junior, who averaged a team high 1.3 steals per game before leaving the team due to personal health concerns surrounding COVID-19.

Tommie-Johnnie football rivalry ends without final game

Although MIAC presidents allowed football programs to schedule up to four games or scrimmages this spring semester, a final Tommie-Johnnie game before St. Thomas moves to Division I will not take place this spring, as St. John’s decided to concentrate its efforts on preparing athletes to compete next fall.
