The Minnesota House approved a $1.9 billion public infrastructure package with bipartisan support Monday evening for fixing up roads, bridges, water systems, college facilities and parks and trails across the state.

A transgender woman was brutally assaulted near a light rail station in Minneapolis, suffering serious injuries including a rib fracture, collapsed lung and brain bleed.

Community opposition over the city of St. Paul’s draft plan for the proposed Summit Avenue Regional trial has continued to grow over concerns of safety, parking, and possible tree loss.
