Fritz was the head basketball coach for 31 years. He has coached 16 MIAC regular-season championship teams and has led St. Thomas to the conference playoffs 23 of the last 24 seasons.

The Coalition of Multicultural Organizations ended its “Livin’ in Color” week with two events Friday night. The first was a talent show called “Celebrating Differences,” which included different forms of entertainment, including singing, dancing, rapping and even an eating contest.
