Minnesota moves to pass marijuana legalization

Minnesota is slated to pass a marijuana bill once it reaches Gov. Tim Walz’s desk by the end of the legislative session. The bill was passed by the majority Democrat House and Senate and is now in committees, after which it will head to Walz’ desk, who has previously vowed to sign the bill.  

Robert Vischer inaugurated as St. Thomas’ 16th president

Robert K. Vischer was inaugurated Friday as the University of St. Thomas’ 16th president after a nationwide search to fill the office. Vischer’s selection followed his year-long tenure as interim president after the departure of his predecessor, Julie Sullivan. Sullivan was in attendance during the inauguration and wished Vischer well in a video recording.
