Tommie standout Anders Nelson to transfer, won’t forget ‘unbelievable four-year experience’
After four fantastic years at St. Thomas, senior guard Anders Nelson will graduate and transfer to William & Mary for his fifth-year. The Edina native is hoping he can help improve the five-win school but noted he won’t forget being a Tommie. “You guys have supplied me with memories that will last a lifetime,” Nelson said.
Former and current student government members reflect on USG’s evolution
A lot has changed at St. Thomas since the Undergraduate Student Council was formed as the All College Council in 1938. From going co-ed to Division I athletics, the voice of the student body has grown immensely.

Game Design minor coming to St Thomas

On Friday, the Undergraduate Student Government dedicated the Center for Student Achievement to Julie Sullivan, changing its name to the Julie H. Sullivan Center for Student Achievement. The center, which opened in the fall of 2018, states that its goal is to “empower students as they navigate academic and professional goals.”
Salt Co. promotes college community in christ
Although membership suffered during the pandemic, Salt Co. is quickly reestablishing its community, and hundreds of college students from around the Twin Cities are gathering to worship, read the Bible and connect with one another in small group settings.
