McCarthy Gym reopens with updated facilities
McCarthy Gym reopened Monday morning after being closed for renovation since last spring. St. Thomas faculty and students can now take advantage of updated cardio, weight and locker areas on South Campus.

Volleyball takes first in weekend tournament fifth year in a row
In 2009, the St. Thomas volleyball team had a share of the MIAC title and reached the NCAA tournament round of 16.
This year’s team, ranked No. 8 nationwide by the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association, is looking to repeat those accomplishments.

Baseball coach still pitching fastballs
St. Thomas baseball coach Chris Olean is proof that the best way to maintain a fresh coaching perspective is to stay involved in the game.

Strehlow finds goal again, women’s soccer wins 4-1
The Tommie women’s soccer team dominated Wisconsin-Whitewater 4-1 on the Tommies’ south campus field Saturday. Coach Sheila McGill said the team was prepared and focused on getting the win.
