With an NCAA playoff appearance on the line, St. Thomas (9-1) had its way with Northwestern College in every aspect of the game on the way to a 63-14 rout Saturday afternoon in O’Shaughnessy Stadium.
On senior day, it was junior running back Ben Wartman who led the Tommie offense that racked up 477 total yards.
The St. Thomas volleyball team continued its playoff success Friday night with a 3-0 defeat over Luther College at the NCAA Regional Tournament in Oshkosh, Wis. The Tommies will advance to the regional championship tomorrow night.

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete Saturday at the NCAA Central Regional Tournament at Grinnell College in Iowa. The men’s team enters the race ranked No. 22 in the country, while the women sit at No. 23.

Sophomore quarterback Dakota Tracy threw for three touchdowns to help St. Thomas (8-1, 7-1 MIAC) top Bethel 19-10 Saturday afternoon in Arden Hills.
The No. 9-ranked St. Thomas volleyball team lost in five sets to No. 21-ranked St. Olaf in the semifinals of the MIAC playoffs Thursday. The Tommies fell 26-24 in the deciding set at Concordia University in St. Paul.

Junior Rob Johnson’s late game goal was enough for the men’s hockey team to force a 1-1 tie with St. John’s Sunday night at the MIAC Showcase held at the Bloomington Ice Garden.
