The St. Thomas baseball team is set to compete in the NCAA tournament after receiving a bid Sunday night. This will be the team’s 19th appearance in 23 seasons.

St. Thomas’ Drew Molin pitched a complete-game shutout as the No. 2-ranked St. Thomas baseball team defeated No. 3-ranked Saint John’s 1-0 Thursday night at Cold Spring Ballpark.

St. Thomas softball was selected as an at-large team in the NCAA DIII tournament and will travel to Pella, Iowa to take on 10th-ranked Central College in the opening round of the regionals, beginning Friday at 3:30 p.m.
