Pitcher Kierstin Anderson-Glass struck out five Macalester Scots to help the Tommies to a 2-0 victory in their first game Wednseday. Macalester took the second game 6-5.

The St. Thomas baseball team took a step toward winning a conference championship on Tuesday, beating preseason MIAC favorite Bethel twice on the road in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

After being drafted in the first round by the Twins as an 18-year-old out of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Hunter finished with his original team at age 40.
