Five positive COVID-19 tests were reported to St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being last week, an increase of four from the previous week.
The number includes three students and two employees. One came from the Minneapolis campus.
The state administered 260,306 COVID-19 vaccine doses last week, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Over a million Minnesotans have now completed at least one dose of the vaccine, and just under 600,000 have completed the vaccine series.
MDH also has reported 490,483 COVID-19 cases statewide, and 473 new cases and six deaths as of Monday.
According to the university’s COVID-19 Dashboard, more than 50% of quarantine spaces are available and the university’s contact tracing staff are able to interview 90-100% of positive cases reported to the university within 24 hours over a seven day average.
The university’s numbers come from Center for Well-Being tests, student-athlete mandatory testing, self-reported tests and reports relayed from the Minnesota Department of Health.
