One positive COVID-19 test was reported to St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being last week, down eight from last week and the lowest case total since St. Thomas began reporting COVID-19 cases on campus last fall.
The positive test, which includes over 1,000 tests through athletics mandatory testing, Center for Well-Being tests, self-reported tests and reports that are relayed from the Minnesota Department of Health, comes from a student at the St. Paul campus.
As of Saturday, 902,242 Minnesotans have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose and 467,300 have completed the vaccine series, according to MDH.
MDH is also reporting 485,655 statewide positive cases and 443 new cases as of Tuesday.
According to St. Thomas’ COVID-19 Dashboard, there is no evidence of transmission in classrooms and labs, and more than 50% of quarantine spaces are available.
St. Thomas releases COVID-19 data weekly on Mondays, which is available on the COVID-19 Dashboard.
