Nineteen positive COVID-19 cases were reported by St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being during the week of Dec. 6, which is a decrease of 22 cases from last week.
Fourteen cases were students and five were employees. There were 17 reported cases from the St. Paul campus and two from the Minneapolis campus.
“The total number of cases is within a manageable range and there is currently no evidence of classroom transmission,” the COVID-19 Dashboard message said.
As of Dec. 13, the Center for Well-Being reported a 90.3% university-wide vaccination rate. University employees have a 93.6% vaccination rate and students have a 89.6% vaccination rate.
The Minnesota Department of Health reported that 3,692,432 Minnesotans have at least one vaccine dose and that 3,441,368 have completed the vaccine series as of Dec 9.
