Nine positive COVID-19 cases were reported last week by St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being, over a 50% decrease from last week’s 19 cases, and the lowest since the week of Jan. 30.
Six cases were reported from students and three from employees. Of the total cases, eight came from the St. Paul campus and one came from the Minneapolis campus.
As of Saturday, 759,747 Minnesotans have received their first vaccine dose and 356,911 more have completed the vaccine series, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
MDH is reporting 479,591 statewide positive cases and 561 newly reported cases.
According to the St. Thomas COVID-19 Dashboard, there is no evidence of transmission in classrooms and labs, and more than 50% of quarantine spaces are available.
MDH also announced the “COVID-19 Vaccine Connector,” which will help Minnesotans find when, where and how to access COVID-19 vaccinations.
Positive COVID-19 test numbers come from tests conducted at the Center for Well-Being, self-reported tests and reports that are relayed from MDH.
