For the fourth straight year, the St. Thomas women’s swim and dive team have won a MIAC championship title. After 20 events over the course of four days the Tommies were able to take home the title.
Freshman Anna Astrup won the 100 Fly on Saturday and the 200 fly on Sunday, helping the Tommies get the overall victory.
Women’s hockey lost in overtime 3-2 against the Hamline Pipers on Saturday, snapping their 37 game unbeaten streak.
The Tommies secured a MIAC championship on Friday with their win over Hamline. With their stellar record, the Tommies are the top seed for the upcoming conference playoffs starting Feb. 23.
Women’s basketball has also secured a MIAC championship with a conference record of 18-0 following a win against Saint Mary’s on Saturday. This is the fifth time this decade that the women’s basketball team went unbeaten over the conference regular season.
St. Thomas will play a home semifinal game this upcoming Thursday.
