In all that Ms. Sullivan had to say in this interview, not one word was mentioned regarding St. Thomas being a Catholic school and faithfully teaching the Catholic Faith and faithfully upholding the teachings of the Catholic Church. “All For The Common Good” could be a slogan for any secular school, but does not reflect that St. Thomas is first and foremost a Catholic school dedicated to teaching its students that we are God’s created beings and placed on this earth to determine his will for us and to do it and in that way be with Him forever in His heavenly home. All of the rest of what she said, recruitment, money, etc., etc., etc., is secondary to this basic truth for the school, and it was completely missed in this interview.
