Sports worldwide have been affected by the spread of COVID-19.

NCAA championships were canceled for some winter sports, affecting St. Thomas men’s basketball, men’s hockey, men and women’s indoor track and field and men and women’s swim and dive.

Entire spring seasons were also canceled, including baseball, softball, golf, tennis, and outdoor track and field.

In response to the cancellation, the NCAA is adding an additional season of eligibility for those competing in spring sports.
