The Johnnies returned four interceptions for 57 yards, including one touchdown.
Erdmann threw for five of the Johnnies’ seven touchdowns.
St. John’s has the MIAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
Gustavus 49, St. Olaf 7
After losing to St. Thomas the previous week, Gustavus demolished St. Olaf 49-7 at Hollingsworth Field in St. Peter.
The Gusties had 424 total offensive yards compared to St. Olaf’s 211 and sacked Ole quarterback Lars Prestemon three times.
Of their seven touchdowns, six were thrown by Gustavus quarterback Michael Veldman, who had 278 total passing yards.
Concordia 54, Carleton 21
Concordia’s 420 rushing yards were the difference in defeating Carleton at Laird Stadium in Northfield.
After their monumental win against St. John’s two weeks ago, the Cobbers’ rushing game has been their secret weapon in ending the season on a three-game win streak.
Concordia quarterback Sean McGuire had 128 passing yards and threw for three touchdowns, in addition to his 173 rushing yards including a 1-yard touchdown run.
Augsburg 12, Hamline 9
In the low-scoring game of the week, Augsburg defeated Hamline 12-9 at Klas Field in St. Paul.
Despite a late-game safety, the Pipers struggled all game to get points on the board with their only touchdown coming from a 52-yard fumble recovery in the second quarter.
Augsburg running back Quran Al-Hameed had 190 rushing yards and scored both of the Auggies’ touchdowns.
