The St. Thomas men’s hockey team announced Monday that its home game against Gustavus Wednesday has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols, and the Tommies will instead play Bethel at Saint Thomas Ice Arena that night at 7:30 p.m.

The team also said that its two games against Augsburg Friday and Saturday have been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. The Tommies will now play St. Mary’s at home Friday night, the athletics department confirmed to TommieMedia Tuesday.

Augsburg’s athletics department said in a statement that the remainder of the men’s hockey games this season have been canceled.

Gustavus’ athletics department said in a tweet Monday that their men’s and women’s hockey teams “are done” due to COVID-19 protocols.

St. Thomas played at Gustavus Thursday, where the Tommies shut them out 3-0 before tying St. John’s 2-2 the following night and winning at St. Mary’s 4-2 Saturday night.
