Saturday was a busy day on campus as the majority of the freshman class moved into new residence halls.
“It’s been hectic and crazy,” said freshman Peter Lindahl, who moved into his new dorm in Brady Hall Saturday. “But even though it’s tough with the lines and stuff, I’m enjoying it.”
Freshman Sophia Petrow also said moving into her new dorm in Dowling Hall was a fun experience.
“It’s well-organized and the move-in helpers were super helpful, especially with lofting the bed,” Petrow said. “I’m happy with the setup and my new roommate.”
Petrow’s mother, Shelly Petrow, said it was a “beautiful day”.
“We’re excited for her to be off to a good start,” Shelly Petrow said.
Lindahl and Sophia Petrow both said they would be attending many of the freshman orientation activities.
“I’m excited for all the activities in general and I’m going to go to most of them,” Petrow said. “There’s going to be a pizza party for out-of state students I’m going to. I’m from Nebraska.I also have my residence hall meeting tonight.”
