Alexei Navalny, the fiercest foe of Russian President Vladimir Putin who crusaded against official corruption and staged massive anti-Kremlin protests, died in prison Friday, Russian authorities said. World leaders condemned Russia and Putin for his imprisonment and death.

Alexei Navalny’s wife, Yulia Navalnaya, blamed the reported death of her husband on Russian President Vladimir Putin and his regime, saying they are responsible for all of the “terrible things” being done to the country and predicting that they won’t remain in power for long.

Both a Minnesota man testing a snowmobile for his employer in the Alaska backcountry and the company have been cited for reckless driving after the machine slammed into a sled dog team on a training run in December, killing three dogs.

The State of Alaska charged Erik Johnson, of Roseau, Minnesota, and Minnesota-based Polaris Inc. on Feb. 8 with a misdemeanor in the crash near the interior Alaska community of Cantwell, located about 210 miles (338 kilometers) north of Anchorage.

University of St. Thomas Grace Hall residents expressed frustration after construction on the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena suddenly diverted walking paths to the dorm Tuesday morning.

Only the west door of Grace provides access to the rest of campus. The path leads around Brady Education Center and past Ireland Library before coming out next to the Schoenecker Center. Residents in the area are frustrated that they did not receive notice of these changes in additional construction and new paths prior to the change, with one recent Fizz post comparing South Campus to “living in hell.”
