This morning, Nikki Haley, a Republican candidate, suspended her political campaign leaving Donald Trump to be the last major Republican in the race. Haley says she leaves the race with an elevated national profile. She made history by being the first Republican woman to win a primary contest.
With Haley out of the race, Trump and President Biden dominated Super Tuesday and both won in Minnesota. The November election appears to now be a choice between Biden and Trump.
With more and more hardship in Gaza, Biden’s top senate allies are demanding the U.S. does more to ease the civilian suffering. Congressional Democrats are concerned about the conflict and are aware that criticism could weaken Biden in his reelection campaign.
Here at St. Thomas, commuter students are struggling to find parking spaces with the south campus construction. Lot O has closed, which has eliminated roughly 195 spots designated for staff and students. Parking Services have no set plan for the lack of on-campus parking.
