St. Thomas post-graduation job rates remain relatively high amid the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that 97% of St. Thomas graduates are employed or continuing post-undergraduate education, compared to the U.S. average of 86%.
Mark Sorenson-Wagner partially credits the metro location of St. Thomas for this success, which provides students with many career opportunities across a wide range of industries.
Fifty-five positive COVID-19 cases were reported by St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being during the week ending May 6, the highest of the spring semester.
The Center for Well-Being stated that the number of cases has remained “on par with increases across the Twin Cities” and that there is no evidence of classroom transmission.
