A public visitation and vigil for Archbishop Emeritus Harry Flynn will be held Sunday evening at St. Mary’s Chapel at the St. Paul Seminary. Flynn died Sunday at age 86. He was the Archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese from 1995 to 2008. Flynn also served as chairman of both the St. Thomas board of trustees and the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity. Additionally, Flynn residence hall is named after him.

The Washington Post reports that President Trump ordered his staff to freeze millions in aid to Ukraine. This action was made prior to a phone call in which he pressured Ukraine’s president to open an investigation Joe Biden’s family. This comes are more Democrats are moving toward impeachment proceedings. Late Monday, Freshman democrats with military and national security background said Trump insists he has done nothing wrong. Trump, however, insists he has done nothing.

Police fired tear gas and water cannons at rock-throwing students in Jakarta, Indonesia. Protests come after the Parliament’s decision to reduce the Corruption Eradication Commission’s Authority. The Commision has the job of fighting government corruption. The protests have grown over the past two days and turned violent in some cities.
