Hayley Trace, human resources management major, 3.39 GPA

Trace is from Apple Valley, Minn. She is captain of the varsity swim team, a senior class senator on the Undergraduate Student Government and vice president of external affairs for the Student Legacy Program. Trace also serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and participates in the Society of Human Resource Managers.

Trace said her favorite St. Thomas memory was “crushing” the school, conference and meet record for the 200-medley relay with her swimming teammates during last year’s conference championship.

Over the summer, Trace was the first St. Thomas student to have an internship with Southwest Airlines in Dallas, Texas. She was a people employment intern, and she said she would like to recruit talent for a corporation after graduation.

Trace said something students might not know about her is that she loves giraffes.
