St. Thomas’s annual poster sale drew a crowd of students interested in spicing up the walls of their dorm rooms, apartments and houses.
Students perusing the sale, located in the lower level of Murray-Herrick in the campus square, were asked which posters they considered to be the best or most interesting.
Many students, like freshman Cynthia Burton, can’t pick a specific favorite.
“I’m thinking about getting Johnny Depp playing the piano because he is my favorite actor and because who wouldn’t want a poster of that?” Burton said. “I also like the movie and band ones best and the old style photography.”
Some students, like senior Guilhem Okou were interested in replacing the wintery St. Paul weather with a poster of a more tropical climate.
“I like the one with the beach scene. The weather is so cold out it just makes me feel warmer looking at it,” Okou said.
The poster sale will continue until 5 p.m. Friday.
