On Sept. 17, 2013 at 10:25 a.m., Public Safety documented a drug law violation in Grace Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
On Sept. 17, 2013 at 3:27 p.m., Public Safety documented damage to property on the 1000 block of Linwood Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported an intoxicated student was arrested in connection with damaging a window and forcibly entering a residence that was not his.
On Sept. 17, 2013 at 11:45 p.m., Public Safety documented four liquor law violations in Dowling Residence Hall. Four underage students admitted to consuming alcohol.
On Sept. 18, 2013 at 10:30 p.m., Public Safety documented a drug law violation in Ireland Residence Hall. One student was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
On Sept. 19, 2013 at 9:55 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in John Roach Center. An individual unassociated with St. Thomas, who was also to have accessed a residence hall without access, was trespassed from campus.
On Sept. 19, 2013 at 11:12 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in the Anderson Student Center. International Student Services reported it had received a suspicious email with offensive statements from a St. Thomas-unaffiliated individual.
On Sept. 19, 2013 at 3:18 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 2000 block of Dayton Avenue. A student reported cash and other personal property were stolen from her unsecured vehicle.
On Sept. 20, 2013 at 1:19 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. Officers escorted two intoxicated individuals unaffiliated with St. Thomas off campus.
On Sept. 20, 2013 at 11:27 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department documented public urination on Finn Street and Selby Avenue. SPPD cited two non-St. Thomas affiliated individuals for underage consumption.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 12:32 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department documented a neighbor complaint on the 1900 block of Roblyn Avenue. Twelve students and four non-students were cited for underage consumption, four were cited for social host and one was cited for obstructing legal process.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 12:55 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department documented a liquor law violation outside O’Shaughnessy Stadium. An underage student was cited by SPPD for underage consumption and transported to detoxification.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 1:40 p.m., Public Safety documented an intoxicated person in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A St. Benedict student of legal drinking age was sent home with a sober caregiver.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 2:19 p.m., Public Safety documented disorderly conduct in the Anderson Student Center. Officers escorted a St. John’s student who was causing a disturbance and screaming obscenities at St. Thomas staff off campus.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 2:35 p.m., Public Safety documented an intoxicated person outside O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. An intoxicated St. Thomas alumnus was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 2:46 p.m., Public Safety documented an intoxicated person in O’Shaughnessy Stadium. A St. Thomas student of legal drinking age was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 3 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics documented a liquor law violation on Finn Street and Selby Avenue. A severely intoxicated underage student was transported by medics to a hospital for medical attention.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 3:24 p.m., Public Safety documented a liquor law violation in Brady Residence Hall. A disorderly, intoxicated student was cited by the St. Paul Police Department for underage consumption, fleeing and obstructing legal process. The individual was transported to detox.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 4:28 p.m., Public Safety documented an assault near Cretin Avenue and Grand Avenue. Public Safety located and identified a St. John’s student who struck a St. Thomas student, then fled the scene.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 5:06 p.m., Public Safety documented property damage in Ireland Residence Hall. Residence Life reported the glass of a fire extinguisher case on the first floor had been struck and shattered.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 6:45 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life in Morrison Hall. A student had passed out in his tub, causing the tub to overflow and damage the wall and carpeting in the room beneath his. Officers assessed his condition and determined he was OK.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 7:10 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. A St. Thomas student who suffered a head injury while playing rugby at Carleton earlier was assisted by an officer and declined further medical attention.
On Sept. 21, 2013 at 10:38 p.m., Public Safety documented four liquor law violations in John Paul II Residence Hall. Three students and a juvenile guest consumed alcohol and a student who assaulted officers was cited by the St. Paul Police Department for consumption and disorderly conduct.
On Sept. 22, 2013 at 9:14 a.m., Public Safety assisted a parent with a welfare check in Ireland Residence Hall. The student was reported to the parent as possibly injured, but was found asleep in his residence and was OK.
On Sept. 23, 2013 at 3:33 p.m., Public Safety documented a liquor law violation at Cleveland and Roblyn avenues. The St. Paul Police Department cited one St. Thomas student and two unaffiliated individuals for underage consumption.
On Sept. 23, 2013 at 6:53 p.m., Public Safety documented six liquor law violations on the 2000 block of Marshall Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported three St. Thomas students and three non-students were cited for underage consumption and one was cited for a social host.
On Sept. 24, 2013 at 5:05 p.m., Public Safety documented a medical at the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. A St. Thomas student suffered a head injury at football practice and a family member took him to the hospital.
On Sept. 24, 2013 at 8:26 p.m., Public Safety documented three liquor law violations in Brady Residence Hall. Residence Life reported two underage St. Thomas students and one unaffiliated individual possessed and consumed alcohol.
