On Nov. 12, 2013, at 11:21 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. A St. Thomas student reported she received several offensive messages through social media from an unidentified individual who hacked an acquaintance’s account.
On Nov. 12, 2013, at 3:20 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Two St. Thomas vendors, initially reported as suspicious persons tampering with a cash machine, were determined to be performing routine maintenance.
On Nov. 12, 2013, at 5:22 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. A Mail Services staff member reported an unidentified individual entered the mail room in lower level Murray-Herrick, then fled the area on foot when confronted.
On Nov. 12, 2013, at 7:51 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Murray Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported she received unwanted contact from several other St. Thomas students related to an ongoing personal dispute.
On Nov. 12, 2013, at 9:37 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Brady Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student had an item displayed in his window in violation of residential policy.
On Nov. 13, 2013, at 10:23 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 160 block of Cleveland Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported the license plate was stolen from his vehicle, which was parked behind his residence.
On Nov. 13, 2013, at 1:08 p.m., Public Safety assisted the Dean of Students office in the Morrison Hall Public Safety office. Information was documented regarding several St. Thomas-themed social media pages not officially sponsored by the university.
On Nov. 13, 2013, at 5:10 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in Brady Educational Center. A St. Thomas student reported a St. Thomas-owned trombone and her personal trombone were stolen from a secured locker in the lower level rehearsal room.
On Nov. 13, 2013, at 11:50 p.m., Public Safety documented a liquor law violation in John Paul II Residence Hall. Residence Life reported one underage St. Thomas student admitted to possessing alcohol and two consumed alcohol.
On Nov. 14, 2013, at 8:23 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft from motor vehicle on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported the passenger side window of his parked vehicle was smashed and a stereo, iTrip and adapter were stolen.
On Nov. 15, 2013, at 10:25 a.m., Public Safety responded to a disturbance in the Anderson Student Center. A former St. Thomas student, behaving suspiciously with staff, was identified by officers and escorted off campus.
On Nov. 15, 2013, 10:25 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to disorderly conduct on the 2100 block of Summit Avenue. An intoxicated unaffiliated person, who boarded a St. Thomas shuttle and was aggressive with officers, was transported to detoxification.
On Nov. 15, 2013, at 8:14 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with an odor of marijuana in Brady Residence Hall. An underage student was found in possession of marijuana, marijuana related paraphernalia and alcohol.
On Nov. 16, 2013, at 12:18 a.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Ireland Residence Hall. Six underage St. Thomas students and two underage guests were found to have consumed alcohol.
On Nov. 16, 2013, at 3:41 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 90 block of Cleveland Avenue North. A St. Thomas student reported her unattended purse was stolen from a residence on the block.
On Nov. 16, 2013, at 10:35 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft on the 90 block of Cleveland Avenue North. A St. Thomas student’s unattended purse, initially reported as stolen from a residence on the block, was later recovered by the St. Paul Police Department.
On Nov. 16, 2013, at 11:04 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a disturbance on the 2100 block of Grand Avenue. A large group of people were near Grand Avenue and Finn Street dispersed upon officer arrival.
On Nov. 17, 2013, at 7:14 p.m., Public Safety documented a disturbance on the 1700 block of Dayton Avenue. The St. Paul Police Department reported a St. Thomas student was struck in the arm by a stray bullet during an officer involved shooting and was treated by St. Paul Fire Department Medics.
On Nov. 17, 2013, at 2:07 p.m., Public Safety responded to burning trash in John Paul II Residence. Smoldering embers from a hookah, improperly disposed of in the third floor trash room, caused trash to burn and were extinguished by officers before building alarms activated.
On Nov. 17, 2013, at 6:18 p.m., Public Safety documented a mechanical malfunction in the lower level of Koch Commons. Physical Plant staff reported an interior entrance door was found damaged and hanging off of the door frame.
On Nov. 18, 2013, at 12:26 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in Brady Educational Center. A St. Thomas student reported her unattended guitar was stolen from the lower level rehearsal room.
