On Feb. 28 at 4:01 p.m., Public Safety documented property damage in Flynn Residence Hall. A Residence Life staff member reported two obscenities were found written on a wall in the fourth floor hallway.
On Feb. 28 at 4:47 p.m., Public Safety documented a traffic complaint on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A UST employee reported a UST vehicle drove onto Cleveland Avenue from a parking lot and cut the employee off.
On Feb. 28 at 8:11 p.m., Public Safety assisted Residence Life with an odor of marijuana in Brady Residence Hall. Alcohol, marijuana and related paraphernalia was confiscated from the residence of two underage UST students.
On Feb. 29 at 9:02 a.m., Public Safety documented a vehicle accident in the Davanni’s parking lot. A UST employee operating a UST vehicle reported they collided with a non-UST affiliated individual’s vehicle while backing up, causing damage to both vehicles
On Feb. 29 at 2:02 p.m., Public Safety documented an odor of gas coming from the Retek Tower in Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Fire Department responded to the odor and reported there was no immediate safety concern for UST or surrounding buildings.
On Feb. 29 at 4:25 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an odor of marijuana in Morrison Hall. Two UST students were found in possession of marijuana related paraphernalia.
On March 1 at 12:50 a.m., Public Safety and the Minneapolis Police Department responded to an intoxicated person outside of Minneapolis Opus Hall. An intoxicated non-UST affiliated individual, sleeping outside of MOH, was woken by MPD and sent off campus.
On March 1 at 9:43 a.m., Public Safety documented a theft in Minneapolis School of Law. A UST employee reported two cartons of office supplies were stolen from a lower level MSL storage area.
On March 1 at 2:17 p.m., Public Safety assisted the community by donating 23 abandoned bicycles to Express Bike Shop in Saint Paul.
On March 1 at 3:09 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft that occurred on the 300 block of Wilder Street. A UST student reported his unsecured laptop was stolen from his room during a party at his residence.
On March 1 at 6:12 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in Lot B. A UST student placed a parking citation from another vehicle onto his own vehicle, which was not authorized to be parked in the lot.
On March 1 at 6:40 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in O’Shaughnessy Science Hall. A UST student experiencing severe abdominal pains was taken off campus by a parent to seek further medical attention at an area hospital.
On March 2 at 12:58 a.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person outside of Terrence Murphy Hall. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age was sent home with a parent.
On March 2 at 12:53 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation outside of John Paul II Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated UST student, found urinating outside of JP2, was sent off campus with a parent.
On March 2 at 2:09 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Anderson Student Center. A UST employee experiencing chest pains was transported by Medics to an area hospital to seek further medical attention.
On March 2 at 5:19 p.m., Public Safety, St. Paul Fire Department Medics and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a medical at the intersection of Summit Avenue and Cretin Avenue. An unidentified individual who was struck by a vehicle traveling on Summit Avenue was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On March 2 at 10:45 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an odor of marijuana in Morrison Hall. The odor was determined to be originating from an underage UST student’s residence, where alcohol was recovered from and disposed of.
On March 3 at 12:55 a.m., Public Safety assisted the St. Paul Police Department with an intoxicated person in Lot B. An intoxicated UST student of legal drinking age, located by SPPD in the SuperAmerica parking lot, was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.
On March 3 at 12:51 p.m., Public Safety documented property damage in the Morrison R2 Ramp. The top of a UST student’s vehicle struck the bottom of the exit garage door, damaging the door, then left the area.
On March 3 at 3:26 p.m., Public Safety assisted UST staff in Anderson Student Center. A chair, initially reported as being stolen from Scooter’s, was later determined by ASC staff to not have been stolen.
On March 4 at 1:02 a.m., Public Safety responded to a disturbance in Lot B. An underage UST student and two underage guests, reported arguing in a vehicle parked in the lot, were found to have consumed alcohol.
On March 4 at 1:31 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation on the Upper Quad. An underage intoxicated UST student, who was disorderly with officers, was sent off campus with a parent.
On March 4 at 3:49 a.m., Public Safety documented property damage on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A UST student reported a non-UST affiliated individual damaged a rear window of his residence.
On March 4 at 8:58 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Koch Commons. A drain in the KOC water fountain was determined to be clogged, which caused the fountain to overflow and leak, damaging ceiling tiles below it.
On March 4 at 3:07 p.m., Public Safety assisted a UST parent with a welfare check in the Child Development Center residence. The parent’s student, who the parent was trying to reach, was located in her residence and was okay.
On March 4 at 6:26 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A UST student, who was not feeling well after working out, was assisted by Medics and declined further medical attention.
Was my previous comment inappropriate? Or are students not allowed to praise public safety for the great job they are doing with marijuana related crimes? Regardless of the reason for your censorship I’d like to reiterate how great full I am that those criminals where caught before they before they hurt someone. I can sleep easy tonight knowing that the situation is under control.
