On March 20 at 11:22 a.m., Public Safety documented property damage in Minneapolis Opus Hall. A clogged drain caused a fourth floor custodial tub to overflow, causing damage to carpeting in the hallway.
On March 21 at 11:53 a.m., Public Safety donated an abandoned bicycle to Express Bike Shop in St. Paul.
On March 23 at 12:18 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in McCarthy Gym. A UST student reported her unsecured laptop and purse were stolen from the front desk at MCG.
On March 24 at 12:23 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a disturbance outside of Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. Officers assisted the caregivers of a special needs guest, who had a disorderly episode. They removed the individual from the AARC.
On March 24 at 7:30 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. A UST guest who fainted was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On March 25 at 9:21 a.m., Public Safety responded to a welfare check in Brady Residence Hall. A UST student who cut their arm the night before, leaving several droplets of blood in BRA hall and stairway areas, was located by officers and was no longer in need of medical attention.
On March 25 at 3:16 p.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Anderson Student Center. A UST guest who experienced a seizure was transported by Medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On March 25 at 10:11 p.m., Public Safety documented a neighbor complaint on the 170 block of Cleveland Avenue. A UST neighbor reported several individuals were on top of a residence on the block causing an excessive level of noise.
On March 26 at 9:48 a.m., Public Safety assisted Athletic Department staff with missing property in Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. A door handle from the preserved O’Shaughnessy Hall doors, initially thought stolen, was determined to be removed by the Physical Plant for molding work.
On March 26 at 7:42 p.m., Public Safety documented a disturbance in Binz Refectory. The Dean of Students Office reported a UST student was involved in a physical altercation with a second student in a lower-level computer lab.
On March 27 at 7:29 a.m., Public Safety documented a noise complaint in Morrison Hall. A UST student reported noise from early morning activity in O’Shaughnessy Stadium was preventing him from sleeping.
On March 31 at 1:16 a.m., the St. Paul Police Department and Public Safety responded to a disturbance on the 1800 block of Laurel Avenue. An underage intoxicated UST student, pounding on the door to a residence on the block, was transported by SPPD to Detox.
On March 31 at 1:31 a.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation at Cretin Residence Hall. A UST student, attempting to sneak a guest into CRE via an emergency door, was advised of night access/visitation policies.
On March 31 at 10:57 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a DUI on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. A non-UST affiliated individual, who caused multiple
property damage along Selby Avenue before crashing into the North Athletic Field fence, was arrested by SPPD.
On March 31 at 10:57 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to public urination on the lower quad. A UST student, who urinated on the John Ireland statue and then fled on foot when approached by officers, was cited by SPPD for public urination.
On April 1 at 11:32 p.m., Public Safety and Saint Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A UST student who was not feeling well was assisted by Medics and taken by a friend to an area urgent care facility for further medical attention.
On April 2 at 5:06 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft outside of Summit Classroom Building. A UST student reported his secured bicycle was stolen from the bike rack on the west side of SCB.
