On Sept. 21 at 8:23 a.m., Public Safety documented property damage in Anderson Parking Facility. A St. Thomas vehicle struck an exit gate arm while leaving the ramp, damaging the gate arm.
On Sept. 25 at 9:46 a.m., Public Safety assisted St. Thomas guests in the Chapel of St. Thomas. Aquinas. A non-university affiliated individual, who guests indicated was not invited to a private service in the chapel, was escorted off campus by officers.
On Sept. 25 at 1:55 p.m., Public Safety responded to a trespass violation near Lot 3. A non-St. Thomas affiliated individual, previously trespassed from campus, fled on foot upon being approached by officers.
On Sept. 25 at 5:18 p.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to a fire on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. A fire at a residence on the block, caused by gas leak from a propane grill, was extinguished by SPFD with no injuries.
On Sept. 25 at 8:11 p.m., Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center Medics responded to a medical in Terrence Murphy Hall. A St. Thomas guest experiencing chest pains was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Sept. 25 at 10:15 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A St. Thomas student who dislocated a finger playing football was taken by a friend to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Sept. 25 at 10:30 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft from a vehicle on the 2000 block of Ashland Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported her unsecured vehicle was accessed and stereo equipment was stolen.
On Sept. 26 at 7:35 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to an alarm in Brady Residence Hall. Overcooked food and a styrofoam plate left in a microwave were determined have caused the alarm.
On Sept. 26 at 3:47 p.m., Public Safety assisted a parent of a St. Thomas student with a welfare check in Dowling Residence Hall. The student, who the parent was trying to locate, was found in Dowling and was OK.
On Sept. 26 at 4:43 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in McCarthy Gym. A St. Thomas student who injured his foot playing basketball was assisted by officers and declined further medical attention.
On Sept. 26 at 4:54 p.m., Public Safety documented harassment in Brady Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported he received unwanted contacted from a university alumnus.
On Sept. 26 at 6:18 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in the Anderson Athletic & Recreation Complex. A St. Thomas employee reported an obscene message was left on a board and a locker was tampered with in a women’s locker room in the AARC.
On Sept. 26 at 10:05 p.m., Public Safety assisted a St. Thomas parent with a welfare check in Brady Residence Hall. The parent’s student, who the parent was trying to reach, was located at his residence and was okay.
On Sept. 27 at 6:52 a.m., Public Safety documented property damage at Anderson Student Center. A delivery truck backing into the loading dock area struck and damaged ventilation ductwork.
On Sept. 27 at 9:25 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an odor of marijuana in Ireland Residence Hall. Two St. Thomas students were found to be in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
