On Jan. 27, 2013 at 12:35 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation in Ireland Residence Hall . An underage, intoxicated non-St. Thomas affiliated individual was sent off campus with a parent.
On Jan. 28, 2013 at 3:35 a.m., Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department Medics responded to a medical in Morrison Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student who was not feeling well was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Jan. 28, 2013 at 11:41 a.m., Public Safety assisted a non-university affiliated parent in Minneapolis School of Law. Officers checked the building for the parent’s teen child, who was reported to have run away and possibly visiting in the School of Law, but individual was not located.
On Jan. 28, 2013 at 2:24 p.m., Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center Medics responded to a medical outside of Minneapolis Opus Hall. An unidentified individual who fell and injured his hip was transported by medics to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Jan. 28, 2013 at 2:39 p.m., Public Safety assisted the campus community by donating abandoned bicycles to Express Bike Shop in St. Paul.
On Jan. 28, 2013 at 11:30 p.m., Public Safety documented a medical in Morrison Hall. A St. Thomas employee reported he slipped on ice twice and injured his leg while working outside of Loras Hall and Grace Residence Hall.
On Jan. 29, 2013 at 5:53 a.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Morrison Hall. A St. Thomas employee, who slipped on ice outside of Flynn Residence Hall and injured his elbow, was provided a taxi to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Jan. 29, 2013 at 10:55 a.m., Public Safety documented property damage at Anderson Student Center Ramp. A St. Thomas vendor reported the top of his vehicle struck the interior ceiling of the entrance ramp, damaging several tiles.
On Jan. 29, 2013 at 1:12 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Morrison Residence Hall. An ELS language center staff member reported a St. Thomas student received aggressive emails from an ELS student in response to a request to participate in a school project.
On Jan. 29, 2013 at 9:02 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in Lot M. A St. Thomas student was found to have an excessive amount of unpaid citations and was untruthful with an officer about his student status.
On Jan. 30, 2013 at 9:45 p.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an odor of marijuana in Brady Residence Hall. The odor was determined to be coming from the unoccupied residence of two St. Thomas students.
On Jan. 30, 2013 at 10:41 p.m., Public Safety documented property damage in Murray Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported her unattended bathtub overflowed, due to a clogged drain, and saturated carpeting in her residence with water.
On Jan. 31, 2013 at 3:24 p.m., Public Safety documented a vehicle accident in Lot Q. A St. Thomas employee reported he backed into a parked vehicle, causing minor damage to the door of the parked vehicle.
On Jan. 31, 2013 Public Safety documented a theft outside of 2085 Grand Ave. A St. Thomas student reported her secured bicycle was stolen from the 85G bike rack anytime between Nov. 30 and Jan. 31.
On Jan. 31, 2013 at 9:01 p.m., Public Safety documented a policy violation in Morrison Residence Hall. The Dean of Students office reported a St. Thomas student contacted a second student in violation of a no-contact directive issued by the Dean’s office.
On Jan. 31, 2013 at 9:41 p.m., Public Safety responded to a medical in Morrison Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student, who suffered possible frostbite to her ears, was taken by a friend to an area hospital for further medical attention.
On Feb. 1, 2013 at 2 a.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Flynn Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported two unidentified individuals opened the door and looked in her residence several times, and appeared to attempt to access other residences too.
On Feb. 1, 2013 at 2:42 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to an intoxicated individual at Flynn Residence Hall. An intoxicated St. Thomas student of legal drinking age was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.
On Feb. 1, 2013 at 6:10 a.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Ireland Residence Hall. The plastic lid from a recycling bin was found broken in the fourth floor hallway of Ireland Hall.
On Feb. 2, 2013 at 4:22 a.m., Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a noise complaint in 2171 Grand Ave. Two guests of a St. Thomas student, who were found to have used and were in possession of marijuana, were identified by officers and trespassed from campus.
On Feb. 2. 2013, at 12:34 p.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in Ireland Residence Hall. The residence of three St. Thomas students was found to have ice and an excessive amount of mold covering multiple surfaces.
On Feb. 3, 2013 at 12:11 a.m., Public Safety responded to a disturbance on the north athletic field. Two unidentified individuals and a St. Thomas student identified through investigation, who set off fireworks on the field, fled on foot when approached by officers.
On Feb. 3, 2013 at 1:07 a.m., Public Safety responded to a liquor law violation on the Upper Quad. An underage St. Thomas student was found to have consumed alcohol.
On Feb. 3, 2013 at 8:51 p.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in Ireland Residence Hall. A sink left on in a second floor restroom caused water to flood and leak to the basement, damaging several ceiling tiles.
