On Feb. 4, 2013 at 12 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity on the block of 2100 Marshall Avenue. A St. Thomas employee reported an unidentified suspect attempted to solicit her while a second suspect appeared to case her vehicle at the BP gas station.
On Feb. 5, 2013 at 8:49 a.m., Public Safety reported a vehicle tow on the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue. A vehicle obstructing access to Lot D was towed by St. Paul Parking Enforcement to the city impound lot.
On Feb. 5, 2013 at 5:07 p.m., Public Safety reported a policy violation in Lot Q. A St. Thomas student was found to have an excessive amount of unpaid parking citations.
On Feb. 5, 2013 at 5:45 p.m., Public Safety assisted the St. Thomas community by donating five abandoned bicycles to the School of Engineering for academic purposes.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 1:33 a.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in Morrison Residence Hall. A plastic panel covering a light in an eighth floor hallway appeared to have fallen to the floor and broke into several pieces.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 4:48 a.m., Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to a liquor law violation in Flynn Residence Hall. An underage intoxicated St. Thomas student was escorted by SPPD to an off campus sober caregiver.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 7:48 a.m., Public Safety documented damage to property in Minneapolis School Of Law. A water leak caused damage to several ceiling tiles in a fourth floor office suite.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 12:17 p.m., Public Safety responded to a suspicious odor in Lot K. A St. Thomas student, whose person and vehicle smelled of marijuana, fled the area on foot when approached by officers.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 3:55 p.m., Public Safety reported property damage in Morrison R3 Ramp. A St. Thomas student later admitted he attempted to exit the ramp by driving around the exit gate arm, but struck the frame of the garage door, knocking it off its track
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 7:13 p.m., Public Safety documented suspicious activity at 2085 Grand Ave. A St. Thomas student reported he received a suspicious electronic message threatening to post embarrassing content about him if he did not send the messenger money.
On Feb. 6, 2013 between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., Public Safety documented a theft in the Anderson Student Center. A student reported his unattended wallet was stolen from a first floor game room.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 10:12 p.m., Public Safety responded to suspicious activity near Summit and Cretin avenues. An unidentified individual, who a St. Thomas student reported approached him and asked several suspicious questions, could not be located upon officers’ check of the area.
On Feb. 6, 2013 at 10:42 p.m., Public Safety responded to an intoxicated person in Morrison Residence Hall. An intoxicated St. Thomas student of legal age, who fled from a cab and did not pay their fare, was sent off campus with a sober caregiver.
