On April 14 at 12:20 a.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a disturbance in Brady Residence Hall. Two underage St. Thomas students unlawfully consumed and possessed alcoholic beverages, and one underage St. Thomas students unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages.
On April 14 at 1:47 a.m. Public Safety and the St. Paul Fire Department responded to a fire system activation in Flynn Residence Hall. An unknown person falsely activated a full building fire alarm.
On April 14 at 2:31 a.m. Public Safety responded to property damage in the R2 level of the Morrison Hall parking garage. A garage door mechanically failed.
On April 14 at 10:38 a.m. Public Safety and Residence Life responded to a disturbance in 2085 Grand Avenue. A St. Thomas student reported repeated loud noises coming from the apartment above.
On April 15 at 1:48 p.m. Public Safety and the St. Paul Police Department responded to suspicious activity in O’Shaughnessy Science Hall. A holstered firearm later determined to be owned by a St. Thomas employee was found unattended in a restroom in the building.
On April 15 at 2:16 p.m. Public Safety and Residence Life responded to suspicious activity in Flynn Residence Hall. Investigation determined two St. Thomas students reported seeing someone they did not believe to be a resident of the building, later found to be a St. Thomas student, enter an apartment.
On April 15 at 2:34 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Minneapolis School of Law. A St. Thomas employee reported a person who appeared to be looking for items to steal.
On April 15 at 4:50 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity in the Anderson Student Center parking garage. An opened alcoholic beverage was found on the back of a university-owned vehicle in the area.
On April 15 at 6:09 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity in the Anderson Student Center parking garage. An opened alcoholic beverage was found on the back of a university-owned vehicle in the area.
On April 16 at 8:03 a.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity on 11th Street. An unidentified individual wrote unintelligible comments about abuse on a sidewalk in the area.
On April 16 at 1:24 p.m. Public Safety documented a medical in the Upper Quad. A St. Thomas student reported being bitten by a dog owned by a university neighbor.
On April 17 at 12:39 a.m. Public Safety and the Title IX office documented harassment on campus. A St. Thomas student reported an unknown person sent unwanted messages using social media messaging.
On April 17 at 9:37 a.m. Public Safety, the St. Paul and Minneapolis Police Departments, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to a nondescript bomb threat on campus. After receiving more detailed information from the caller, no suspicious objects were located.
On April 17 at 12:28 p.m. Public Safety and Hennepin County Medical Center medics responded to a robbery that occurred off campus. A St. Thomas student reported being assaulted, injured and having personal property taken by force from unknown suspects.
On April 17 at 6:36 p.m. Public Safety documented suspicious activity in Cretin Residence Hall. Investigation into a report of four St. Thomas students who heard the Islamic call to worship coming from a room in the building determined it had been played by two St. Thomas students who did not intend it to be heard by others.
On April 17 at 8:34 p.m. Public Safety documented a complaint received via online reporting on campus. A St. Thomas student reported being offended by rhetoric on a social media post by a St. Thomas student leader.
On April 18 at 9:22 a.m. Public Safety responded to suspicious activity in O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center. A St. Thomas employee reported a person not affiliated with the university engaged in socially awkward behavior on a public access computer and with library patrons.
On April 18 at 1:00 p.m. Public Safety responded to a disturbance in LOT K. A St. Thomas student reported another St. Thomas student was upset over a parking spot.
On April 18 at 2:30 p.m. Public Safety documented a suspicious person in Anderson Student Center. Video investigation into a negative encounter reported by a St. Thomas student found a person not affiliated with the university engaged in lewd conduct in the lower level of the building.
On April 18 at 10:08 p.m. Public Safety assisted Residence Life with a liquor law violation in Dowling Residence Hall. An underage St. Thomas student unlawfully possessed and consumed alcoholic beverages, and four underage St. Thomas students and one underage guest unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages.
On April 19 at 1:05 a.m. Public Safety and the St. Paul Police and Fire Departments responded to a medical at 2174 Summit. An intoxicated person not affiliated with St. Thomas found incapacitated in the front yard of the house was transported to an area hospital.
On April 19 at 10:38 a.m. Public Safety and St. Paul Fire Department medics responded to a welfare check in Cretin Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student in distress was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.
On April 19 at 7:46 p.m. Public Safety responded to a disturbance on the 2000 block of Carroll Avenue. A St. Thomas neighbor reported loud noise coming from a house in the area.
On April 20 at 6:15 a.m. Public Safety responded to a disturbance in Morrison Hall. An underage St. Thomas student who unlawfully consumed alcoholic beverages reported an intoxicated relative, later trespassed from university property, assaulted and injured the student.
On April 20 at 6:19 a.m. Public Safety responded to a medical in Flynn Residence Hall. A St. Thomas student reported an intoxicated person not affiliated with St. Thomas found sleeping in the elevator lobby.
