The St. Thomas club sailing team competed at the national semifinals May 1 and 2 in Seattle, Wash., and finished last.

The team, made up of seniors Medora Sletten, Brandon Wilson, Sarah Goossens, junior Matthew Weishan, and freshman Eric Miller, qualified by taking fourth place at the Notre Dame regatta April 16 and 17.

Sletten and Weishan sat down with TommieMedia to talk about the sailing club’s recent success.
