The St. Thomas baseball team faced South Dakota State in a doubleheader Sunday afternoon, securing an 11-6 victory in game one but fell 4-3 in game two.

Baseball returns to Minneapolis to face Minnesota in a two-game series on April 23 and 24.

St. Thomas softball completed their weekend series sweep by knocking off the South Dakota coyotes with a 6-5 victory on Sunday.

This is the team’s fourth straight win, bringing them to a total of seven wins and a single loss over their last eight games.

The St. Thomas women’s track and field team broke its own 4×100 meter relay record by 0.36 seconds last weekend, while the men’s program set two top 10 marks at the Holst Invitational.
