A year after their perfect season crashed with a semifinal loss to Caitlin Clark in the Final Four, the gamecocks and Coach Dawn Staley finished the job with an 87-75 win over Iowa in the NCAA championship Sunday.

St. Thomas softball ended Omaha’s 16-game winning streak on Friday with a walk-off. The Tommies came up short in their third consecutive game against the Mavericks on Sunday. Anna Swanson broke her own program javelin record at the Ashton May Invitational Saturday. She beat her own mark by 1.13 meters.
